Melitta drip coffee pot

Despite being slightly obsessed with coffee makers, I actually don’t drink coffee so can’t really tell you whether or not this classic Melitta drip coffee pot will make a great cup or not. I know that people like Justin (who has a plumbed coffee machine in his kitchen!) might turn their noses up at drip and filter coffee pots, but I think that for your average man in the street they’re probably fine, and definitely preferable to making instant coffee! I’ve only sold one of these coffee makers before – it’s hard to find complete sets, so I was quite excited when I spotted this yellow version the other day. If you look at the base of this pot you can see that it was design to go on the stove, although I’m not 100% certain why you’d need it to – surely you can just use boiling water? But perhaps it’s handy to be able to keep your coffee hot? Regardless, the design is a very attractive one!

Dimensions: Pot – 17.5cm high (with lid on) x 13cm at its widest; filter cup – 11cm high x 12cm at its widest

Price: R240
