Villeroy & Boch snack plates

Villeroy & Boch snack plates

It looks like these Villeroy & Boch plates were originally designed for fondue, but I think that they’d make great snack plates, which I suppose is what fondue really is – a meal made up of bite-sized snacks! I assume the divisions would have been used to keep your different pieces of meat or fruit separate, but they’d also be perfect for separating your carrots from your snap peas, or your hummus from your tzatziki.

The ideal snack platter – not too large (you don’t want your offerings to look too miserly swimming about on a massive plate!) and beautifully decorated – those colours are so crazy that no one’s going to notice if your julienned carrots aren’t quite up to scratch!

Dimensions: Each plate measures 25cm in diameter

Price: R75 per plate (5 plates available – 3 birds, two flowers)

Note: Mint puts up four new items every weekday. The first post goes up at 07h00, the second at 08h00 and the third and fourth at 08h30. You can subscribe to our daily email which goes out at around 09h00 by clicking on the pink envelope on the right hand side of the blog
